Bill Ring is Director and Co-Founder of ValueNet Canada Consulting Inc. with responsibility for the strategic direction, overall management and leadership of the Company, providing the vision of expanding across Canada to become the pre-eminent value-based cost reduction organization.

Prior to starting ValueNet Canada, Bill spent several years in the IT field as both CFO and CEO of emerging companies.  He has also consulted with a number of organizations in the areas of strategy development, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

As a major shareholder, Director and Chief Financial Officer of Crossley Carpet Mills Limited from 1987 to 1994, Bill was responsible for the development and successful implementation of a broad range of cost improvement initiatives to significantly improve the company’s breakeven level.

From 1974 to 1987, Bill was with Industrial Estates Limited, a Crown Corporation providing financial services to manufacturing companies locating or expanding in Nova Scotia.  He joined IEL as Controller and was appointed Vice President, Finance and Administration in 1979.

He articled with Touche Ross & Co in Ottawa in the early 1970’s before joining Canadian Motor Industries (Toyota Canada) as a Business Management Consultant.

Bill holds a B.Com. from Dalhousie University. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Nova Scotia, Ontario and Canadian Institutes.
